CURRENTLY: Consultant at JMAC Europe, Milan

I was born in Ancona, March 1984; I have grown in my hometown, achieving good academic and sport results, having fun and discovering several interests. At High School, I attended Statal Scientific Liceum "Luigi di Savoia", sited in Ancona (AN) and, during that, I managed to spend some months abroad (London and Dublin) to study English, to parecipate to Latin's Games, Math's Olympics and Bocconi ELEUSI Games and, finally to pass with the highest leaving mark, also winning  the CONI/Panathlon prize 2001 as "student athlete"; after that, I wanted to move: I choosed Alma Mater Studiorum, the oldest University in all over the world, the University of Bologna, Bologna (BO).

I have been attending a BSc in Industrial Engineering from 2003 to 2007, with a final dissertation titled: "Quality System Analysis: the Gatto Kitchens Spa case"; before that, my interests were basically on Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Operations Management and Research; during these years I achieved to study and to work for Gatto Kitchens SpA, Ancona (AN), and Officine Meccaniche BB, Bologna (BO), mainly working on Industrial Engineering's subjects. Those years were important for other reasons: I lived with several other guys; with them I discovered the real meaning of the term "teamwork" and, above all, I managed to build up a strong number of relationship that care each other nowdays, too; achieving to work in PMI in the same time I was following my studies was a very hard exercise, but it changed my view on Academics and, so on, I decided to take an higher degree, starting the MSc in Industrial Engineering.

During MSc, I gave my best: I tried to expand my interests and I really cared to build a complete profile with the widest and deepest knowledge I could; during these years, I discovered new industries and functions like Project Management, Renowables (partecipating for instance to Seminars and University Project Work, like AGSM Energy, Verona (VR) with the "Feasibility study of an Aeolic Park sited near Bologna") and the discovering of Linux, the OpenSource Technologies and Mobile Technologies. I also cared to improve my preparation in Supply Chain Management, Project Management and Operations, fixing my interests on "Lean Thinking" through Japanese and USA phylosophy of concerning fluxes and methods. Therefore, I prepared a long final thesis in a small context, a PMI again, where I could learn directly from the field; I worked at Baioni Crushing Plants SpA on a dissertation titled: "Flux analysis, re-layout and assessment of production mix enlargement"; on that, I approached on Supply Chain Management, Operations Excellence, Strategy and Innovation Management: my final leaving mark was very good (top 10%), my work is now published (see that clicking here: http://amslaurea.cib.unibo.it/477/) and I passed with the congrats of teachers I keep in touch nowdays, too.

After June 2009, I wanted to define and expand my whole profile, making it the most complete I could: I studied for IELTS test of English and I achieved the Advanced Level under British Council Final Test, attended in Bologna (BO), through Oxford ESOL standards; I also managed to prepare the Italian Final Test of Engineering: I passed 4 steps in Bologna (BO) and now I am a member of the Italian National Border of Engineers, class A, Sector Industrial Engineering. In the same year, I applied for ISTAO Business School, Ancona (AN) and I pass with merit and a scholarship supplied by ISTAO Partners; ISTAO Business School was founded by Prof. Giorgio Fuà in according with Adriano Olivetti, the Ohio University, the CRN and the University of Marche Region. Accreditated by ASFOR, ISTAO Business School is one of the oldest Business School in Italy and CSIL is also based into it; the Institute is connected with some of the most prestigious Universities from all over the world: MIT, Harvard, the Ohio University and its relationships overthrone regional and national borders. During those months I studied Business Management and Economics, I had been working for TeamSystem, Pesaro (PU) and Desi Mobili Srl, Fabriano (AN) through organized Project Works on BPR and Supply Chain Management; at the end of the Master I accepted the final stage in Consulgroup, Ancona (AN), a medium size consultancy company which works mainly in the middle of Italy in Temporay Management projects. My first role was to analyze inbound/outbound fluxes and to define and re-project the production's lines of the client through Lean Methods: in other words, I became the "Lean Agent" of the entire project; results were about +50% KPI, using Lean Thinking Methods on the field for my first time; during those months I managed to pass MIT tests for 1 year spending on Research in Boston, Massachussetts (MA, USA), under the guide of professors Jim Rice and David Simchi-Levi: burocracy and organizational issues did not let me leave. Now, my dream is to go, one day: I know that I will manage to achieve that.

Fascinated by Japanese methodologies, I applied for JMAC Europe the most important Japanese Firm in Management Consulting Industry, based in Tokyo; JMAC Europe is also based in Italy, in Milan (MI) and  its presence is about 11 offices all over the world with clients coming from over 30 Countries. My job started in October 2010 with my partecipation at October's Technical Meeting and I immediatly started to move on clients; I clearly cannot write down a name list, but I can make a summary of the Companies I worked for, through JMAC Europe's project:

-Industries where I have worked: Machinery, Luxury, Electronics, Plastics, Wellness, Furnitures, Consumer&Durable Goods, Automotive, Transportations.
-Country I worked: Italy, Sweden, France.
-Projects mainly focused on: Lean Manifacturing and Industrial Engineering Techniques, Mapping, Global Supply Chain Management, Coaching, Business Planning, Lean Office, Stock Management, Sourcing and Sales, Forecasting, Network Distribution.

JMAC Europe gives also important occasions to improve the own formation: I talking about my contribute on "Kart Factory" (LIUC, Moncalieri), JMAC Europe CAMP (Como 2010) and at TPM Specialist Course (Turin 2011), the possibility to make pubblications and to meet Akira Koudate, the co-foundator of JMAC, the Technical Director and an authentic legend.
